Here is a article about a new independent supermarket to supplied by Unified Grocers called, Normandy Park Market. Normandy is south of Seattle and located between Burien and Des Moines. In the past, there has been a supermarket on this site. Originally it was a strip mall called Normandy Village and had longtime grocer, XL Sooper. Before the redevelopment of this center, the XL Sooper became a Thriftway and then it closed. Here are the articles:
