What is the story on this store? Rite Aid is operating in a little building that looks like a former convenience store and has signs up that remind me of the old small east coast Rite Aids? The store has a current Rite Aid floor and aisle signs and a tiny product mix and the employees said it is a temporary store until they construct a new store on the next lot over, which appears to be under construction currently. Did they buy out an independent pharmacy or close another store nearby?

I've been meaning to post on this.

The Rite Aid is a temporary location that has the pharmacy and a limited selection of related merchandise. It was a former 99-cent type store. Rite Aid bought the next-door strip mall and has demolished half of it to build a new store.

The temporary pharmacy location exists because this is a relocation of the Rite Aid at Dale & La Palma, next door to a shuttered Albertans (It was a paired Thrifty/Lucky back in the day).

The old location was gutted and has recently re-opened as an Orchard Supply Hardware (which seems to be re-expanding into Orange County after the restructuring hiatus).
