Re: Car drives into marina Rite Aid
It is common hear about elderly people mistaking the gas for the brake. When people get older symptoms of Alzheimer's disease are often ignored until car accidents happen.
The store looks like it can be easily repaired. There probably weren't many people in the store anyway.

Re: Car drives into marina Rite Aid
This was the busiest Rite Aid I saw in Boise, and I went into just about all of the locations there. I went into this one late at night (it is open 24 hours) and there were a few other shoppers. Most of the other locations were nearly deserted either mid-day or early evening.
I'm glad there was not more damage done to the building. That's a very nice building.

Re: Car drives into marina Rite Aid
Just a couple of years ago someone rammed the front of a TJMaxx store (which takes up part of a former Lamonts/Gottschalks location) up here with the gas/brake excuse.

Re: Car drives into marina Rite Aid
Sounds like folks up there are being rather impatient about RAD installing drive through pharmacies.

Re: Car drives into marina Rite Aid
Worth noting is that this Rite Aid happens to be a former Albertsons Marina store (ironically before Albertsons moved into a now-demolised former marina Safeway at Vista & Overland), although the suspended ceiling hides it well, you can tell if you drive around back.
