Amazon Fresh Opening in Chicagoland

Naperville, to be exact, according to this article in Winsight Grocey News.

Given the number of grocery retailers who have come and gone I'm skeptical that this is going to be a game-changer.

Will be interesting to see how an abbreviated product mix works in Chicago. I think, it won't work well. Then again, they could change that...

I don't see the limited assortment working well. However, if the primary focus is fulfilling online orders for Amazon the "store" becomes an extension of the fulfillment center that would already be there.
