I've noticed over the past 6 months that several Walgreens stores in the Phoenix area have been subdivided into Village Medical Primary Care / Walgreens locations where about 1/4 of the store has been converted into a doctor's office.
Per this article they plan to open 22 such stores in the Phoenix area by the end of this year and 600 nationwide within 4 years.

Re: Village Medical Primary Care / Walgreens
The Walgreens/Village sites are more cramped on the drug store side, with less selection than the regular stores (of course nowadays the regular Walgreens are half empty)

Re: Village Medical Primary Care / Walgreens
is this perhaps a re-clamation of the Theranos space which Walgreens was all over about 5 years ago...the founder is on trial at the moment?
