I read this earlier and the worst part of it is even "clean label" items are not really necessarily clean.
It is pretty simple- raw foods are where it is at. Boxed foods, canned foods, that are processed in any way, not so much. I even wonder about things like pasta and rice in the US that are "enriched" (powder like vitamin additives on the product), whereas if you buy those items imported from other countries sometimes they are not "enriched" (so missing those vitamins).
Some of the worst labels I see are in supermarket bakeries and delis (doesn't matter what chain). Obviously restaurants/fast foods would have similar awful labels but you know that going in.

No wonder we have so many health problems!
Convenience foods...................we all pay a very high price for that.
