Re: Walgreens Chicago Flagship In Former Bank
That is a very nice looking store. It is nice how Walgreens preserved part of the building's history. I would love to see them make some of their already existing stores this upscale, even if they're not considered a flagship location.

Re: Safeway Closing Oakland,CA
It's always a bit sad to see another Marina Safeway bite the dust. Oakland residents are putting up obstacles and demanded so many redesigns. It is nearly impossible to get anything approved since citizens demand so many changes. All of those crazy neighbors complain about everything. You would thin...

Re: Dunkin' Donut Unveils New Restaurant Design
The closest Dunkin' Donuts near me (which is in a stip mall) was recently modeled, but I have not had the opportunity to check it out for myself though. I think it was remodeled to one of those new formats.

Re: 1st CVS/Pharmacy in Washington?
Any ideas on why it's taken CVS so long to expand to some of these western states? (Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming currently do not have CVS stores in them).

Re: Sears' Plan B: Turning vacant stores into data centers?
This is definetely a really creative idea, and one that will definetely work out well for Sears. I wouldn't be surprised if other chains start copying this idea.

Re: Circle K branding removed (hastily?) from 76 stations
I have seen several Conoco gas stations in my area turn fro Circle K into 7-11 during the past couple of months, although I am unsure if they are related at all to PCandF since their website still says all of there locations here are still Circle-K's.

Re: The slow death of Quizno's ?
Quizno's has entirely pulled out of the Colorado Springs market, with only a couple of stores in the Denver metro area left, including their original store. The former Quizno's closest to my house recently turned into an Arby's. (Oddly enough, this Arby's uses the old logo on their signs.) Subway is...
