Somehow I missed that change. What year was that?
The Safeway there was a good size (I shopped there quite often). Well run store for sure and extremely busy. It is curious that they changed it to Pavilions Place, since it is was not a small store.

What do you mean by allowed? That is a state lawsuit, the DOJ can't stop or control it in any way. Colorado probably wanted to file their own lawsuit because they are concerned the federal government might want to settle the case, and they don't want to have to go along with it. Wasn't there some m...

What ever happened to Coffee Bean? There used to many inside of Ralphs and a few in the San Francisco Bay Area. Now they seemed to have disappeared from Northern California. Are there a lot still in Southern California? I always thought of Coffee Bean as having a smaller menu than Starbucks. There'...

Re: Home Chef
The Harris Teeter program "Fresh Foods Market" looked a lot better than Home Chef... tasted better at Harris Teeter too (not excellent, but better). The Safeway Ready Meals program doesn't look any better than Home Chef but it has way more SKUs and appears to have far more waste. Then aga...

I think this is the tip of the iceberg, not necessarily for WS but the entire industry especially in the last few years. The mad scramble for materials after all the supply chain crises, port backups, etc. has surely caused many more labeling issues. Much easier for crooked suppliers to falsely sta...
