Despite being listed on the UNFI private label page, I cannot seem to find the Springfield private label brand in any independent or regional store advertising. I had been able to find it at Vallarta, but the Madera store had none on my last visit.

Meanwhile, my local Stockton JCP has removed the Johnson era decor from the first floor and is in the process of re installing carpet.

I would argue Southcenter may be the most visible Sears still open. Concord and Stockton are still open as well. Visited the north Stockton Safeway for the first time in a while. Store opened in 2004 and hasn't had a decor refresh since opening day. What they have done is move things around in a haphazard fashion causing customer confusion.

Regional chain Nugget Markets is now requiring shoppers wear face coverings with no exceptions:
