I'm a little late on this but it's been known for a long time it was going to close...years...just kept being delayed.
Closed on March 15. Will be replaced by a Whole Foods. This was originally a Hughes Market which the article does not mention (but I know it was)! Not a huge store but one of the few in this area. The next closest store is a Gelsons (former Mayfair) on Hyperion and a larger than normal Vons (former Safeway) on Sunset.
