The shape looks really cool.
Perhaps inspired by Mid Century Modern.

Yeah, I was impressed by it - it's subtle but still a nod to the past. There probably won't be an expression of it on the interior, but it would be nice if there were.

Reminds me of the Safeway store they built in Queen Creek, AZ, outside of Phoenix.
I suppose they could extend the MCM look if they used the Modern decor package.

Highly doubt it will have the Modern interior. New build Albertsons banner stores don't seem to get the lifeless bland Modern interiors. And that is a good thing- though I'm not too hot on this new Albertsons interior either, formally known as the Heritage interior, from a branding/marketing perspective it sure has a lot more personality than the Modern interior.rwsandiego wrote: ↑May 13th, 2024, 7:23 pm Reminds me of the Safeway store they built in Queen Creek, AZ, outside of Phoenix.

They get an Albertsons interior of some kind on new build Albertsons. See: Star, ID. El Paso, TX. Powell, WY. Irving, TX.
I'm hoping they will stop using Modern in remodels and go to something else. NorCal still has a ton of stores to remodel.
