Big Kmart stores selling produce

I visited a Big Kmart store yesterday at 122nd & Sandy in Portland. I noticed something odd, they had a small selection of produce in the lobby area as you walk in the first set of doors. Seems like an odd spot to set this up, as there wasn't a display in the main part of the store at all. Are very many Kmarts doing this?

I haven't visited a Kmart in a long time. However, it could be Kmart copying Target's new PFresh format. The new PFresh format features a small selection of produce as well as packaged fresh meat and baked goods. Perhaps, Kmart is trying to see if adding these products will increase traffic into their stores.
