Funny, I was actually in this store 8-10 years ago when I was in TX. It didn't seem like the best area though I think the run down exterior may have shaped that observation more than anything else, and it was a pretty run down store with fairly limited fresh offerings compared to the other Kroger locations I visited. I probably have photos somewhere.
Since I was there, based on Google photos now, I see it got a pretty low budget remodel (mostly a wall repaint it appears) and also it appears it has almost brand new self checkouts.
